Regresaron a clases más de 29 mil alumnos de la UAQ

Este lunes 14 de enero, la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ) retomó sus actividades escolares correspondientes al semestre enero-junio 2019, con una comunidad integrada por 29 mil 68 estudiantes inscritos en los niveles de Bachillerato, Licenciatura y Posgrado, pertenecientes a las 13 Facultades y a la Escuela de Bachilleres.

Durante este primer semestre de 2019, se incorporan mil 368 alumnos de nuevo ingreso, quienes fueron aceptados para formar parte de la Comunidad UAQ durante el proceso de Selección y Admisión del Ciclo Escolar 2019-1, que en esta ocasión sólo convocó a aspirantes de nivel licenciatura.

Pese a haber hecho el máximo esfuerzo institucional para dar cabida al mayor número de estudiantes, el Alma Máter queretana tuvo que rechazar a mil 790 aspirantes, lo que significa el 57 por ciento del total.

Más de 27 mil alumnos inscritos en ciclos anteriores reanudan su formación educativa en las aulas de la Universidad; de ellos, el 66 por ciento pertenecen a licenciatura, es decir, más de 18 mil universitarios continuarán con su plan de estudios profesional.

Asimismo, el 26 por ciento del total -correspondiente a más de 7 mil jóvenes- regresarán a la Escuela de Bachilleres para complementar su educación media superior; y finalmente, el 8 por ciento, que representan 2 mil 249 universitarios, seguirán con su preparación académica en maestrías, doctorados y especialidades que se ofertan en el Posgrado de la UAQ.

La comunidad universitaria se distribuye en los diferentes Campus Regionales ubicados a lo largo del territorio estatal, en los municipios de Querétaro, Jalpan de Serra, El Marqués, Amealco, Cadereyta, Arroyo Seco, San Juan del Río, Corregidora, Tequisquiapan, Pedro Escobedo y Colón.

En cuanto a la nueva oferta educativa, el Alma Máter queretana inicia este primer  semestre de 2019 con la impartición de la Especialidad en Rinología y Cirugía Plástica, programa educativo que se oferta en la Facultad de Medicina.

De igual forma, la Facultad de Filosofía hará lo propio con la nueva Especialidad en Ética de las Investigaciones, misma que tiene el objetivo de proveer una formación a nivel posgrado, que permita a los estudiantes un alto nivel educativo con conocimiento del campo de la ética de las investigaciones.

Con este esfuerzo, la Máxima Casa de Estudios de la entidad continúa cumpliendo con su misión de formar profesionistas y ciudadanos con vocación humanista, altamente comprometidos con la responsabilidad social universitaria tanto en su entorno inmediato como en lo nacional.
